Policies

Standards for authors, editors, working-paper records, reader access, and post-publication action

Policy directory

These policies define the public rules for eligibility, editorial screening, authorship, research ethics, rights, accessibility, corrections, privacy, and preservation. Related subjects are consolidated where one complete policy is easier to use than several thin pages.

Working papers are editorially screened, are not peer reviewed, and may be revised. A public policy does not replace the paper-specific author, faculty, rights, ethics, consent, or repository records retained through authorized private processes.
